my buddy bought my 2000 silverado and he wants to put '06 lights on it

. i told him i dont think it will work. what do you guys think

the only way to do this is to swap out the front sheetmetal....i believe sporttruck just did a review on a kit that came out...the newer sheetmetal bolts right on the 99-02 trucks....but just bolting the headlights on won't work

yes, all the rear tail light mount the same

Yep 1999 NBS through 2007 Classic tail lamps are a direct fit.

the 2003-2007 Chevy tails use a 4 bulb harness, you have a few options.

1 - still run 3 bulbs and leave the 4th empty
2 - modify your 2000 harness to add one more bulb
3 - buy 2003-2007 chevy harnesses from ebay or for $10 each from GM

I have 2004 tails on my 2000 GMC Sierra - great mod IMO
