can some one please help with this vin/i checked every where even here and no vin decode:ce20dza15312

there is a vin decoder on the front page,,but let me take a crack at it
ce20dza15312 C= 4x2 E = V-8 Gas 2 = 3/4 Ton ?????? not sure on this one ok im lost,,there is a vin dcoder on front page,, for some reason im not matching up the numbers or you need to check to make sure you got the right number...the rest of the guys can help out more maybe

That's funy.That's my VIN except a few numbers off at the end.I don't remember the exact decode means except what he said above plus it's a fleetside made in Freemont Calif. Also,mine is a '69.Only the last serial # is different so I think you have a '69 model,possibly made in last '68.

GMC doesn't decode like a chevy, and on top of that, they differ from year to year. They even had diferent codes within model years.

well glad to know they decode diff..thought i was going blind trying to use the vin decoder..kept switching back and forth,,and nothing matched after the 3rd number..

C = conventioanl cab E = Eight cylinder 2 = 3/4 ton OD = Fleetside box Z = Fremont Assembly Plant A = 1969 15312 is sequence number of vin uzz gots yourselves a 69 look at the style of steeeing wheel and note location and direction of the fuse box block...typical easy ways to see differences between 68 and 69 send the california rust free cab my way...thanks.
