how many coils?

how many coils do i cut off for a 3, or maybe 2 inch drop? in the front of course. thanks, Ben

I CUT 1 COIL FROM THE THE FRONT. THE DROP WAS ABOUT 2.5 TO 3 INCHES. IF YOU HAVE LEAFES INTHE REAR YOU CAN TAKE THE HELPER LEAF AND ONE ARCHED SPRING TO GET ABOUT 2INCHES. ON THE REAR YOU NEED TO ADD A SPACER ON THE TO OF THE PACK. THERE IS NOT ENOUGH THREADS ON U BOLTS.

And here is the same truck with 1 coil cut out of the front and I used a set of 2 inch blocks on the rear of a coil spring truck.

You can use 2 inch blocks on the rear of a coil spring truck but you must use longer u bolts and do a little bit of grinding to fit it up right.

All in all It worked out good as I cant tell it rides any diffrent than before and it sits much much lower.
