Winter Blazer Pics

I ventured out tonight and took a few pics of my Blazer. I thank God I have this thing to drive when the weather is crap...Overall, it's the best daily driver I have ever owned

6" Superlift, 35x12.50 Pro-Comp X-terrains, 15x10 Alcoa knock off wheels
3.73's and Gov locks front and rear in the 10 bolts
Cobra CB, Sony sound, homemade rear spare carrier

Re: Winter Blazer Pics

My bottom half has been Rhino lined and I wash it as soon as the roads clear of snow...or 1 week, whichever comes first.

Re: Winter Blazer Pics

I was wondering about rhino lining the bottom of my blazer also.Damn mid-eastern states! How did you go about doing it.Did you pull the body off and put it on a rotissere.I want to do my k-30 body that way too. Thanks for the input.Your blazer looks good.

Re: Winter Blazer Pics

You call that Winter? Bahh! Here's some winter for you!

Almost 2ft of white stuff a few days before x-mas. I'm in Winter Park (good name huh?) to take my 10 yr old boy skiiing for the first time.

It was fun bashing through yuppie town in a nasty K5...

Re: Winter Blazer Pics

Well, my gift from my K5 to me for all the winter driving I did was to cough up the front drive shaft. 30+ year old CV joint couldn't hack it anymore. Last snow we got i was driving home from the airport at midnight and noticed a wicked vibration from the front end after i shifted into 4hi for the ride home. It wasn't a lot of snow, but I've been a passenger in a bronco that rolled on less so the use of 4hi was just out of precaution. 50 ft with the drivline shaking and I decided to take the risk in 2wd and take it easy on the way home. Further inspection revealed a ton of newfound slop in the front drive shaft. $94 later in parts to get it rebuilt and we won't see any more snow! Just spring wheeling!
