Talking Got pictures of my new baby...well project!!

These are pictures of my new truck I just got. Doesn't have a dent in it...the only rust is very minor on the bottom of the door sills...everything is orginal on it...it had sat in the place it sits for 14 years and the people still went out and made sure everything was okay with it...one coat of wax and making sure there wasn't any rats nests in it. I know it doesn't look it but has been very well preserved...the seat has to small tears in it on the drivers side, otherwise in perfect shape, the foam isn't even sunk in...it has ALL the orginal paperwork all the way back to the orginal warrenty papers and the first set of tires that were put on it...which are in the bed...well are not on it so we could get it on the trailer. It has 44,000 original miles on it, the truck was bought in North Dakota. Has the 307 and powerglide in it...VERY FEW options. What is your opinions on the 307 and powerglide...it will be fixed up all original except for possibly HEI and one wire alternator...I want everything else to be original...it will be a daily driver, I'm a agriculture teacher and will just be driving it from home to school....once it is fixed up. So what do you guys think of my $500 beauty. Only thing I've done so far is pull the plugs and put oil over the pistons and turned it over...which it done very well. I'm really excited...so tell me what you think...good deal??

Looks like a great project! I dub it 'Swamp Thing'. Nice find! Have fun!

Sheet metal looks great. It is worth 3-4x what you paid in parts.

Carb, dashpad, & a little paint cleanup = cool driver.

You almost stole it, in my opinion, for $ 500.

Nice truck, you stole it!
307/PG is good for going back and forth to work, with maybe some stops at Home Depot along the way.
Congrats
Dano
