Re: Cold Weather in Tx

I am in College Station area and have been home for the second day now due to the freeze watching my two kids because of no school. We are really starting to get cabin fever. Hate to take them out to the shop though in this kind of weather.

Re: Cold Weather in Tx

You guys got it made down there! I grew up in Houston and remember putting on the long johns in the winter when the temp would drop dangerously low into the 40's Here now it is 17* F and is supposed to be around 5* when I get up in the morning for work

It is amazing what happens to automobiles when it is that cold out: Tranny oil gets so gooey it is like stirring glue when you shift. Shock absorbers get frozen and your car rides like a grocery cart. Otherwise soft seats become hard as concrete until your butt warms them up. Lots of fun!
