1954 Series 1 3100 looking for a new home

I have an ol' gentleman friend who has no computer, and so he has asked me to help get the word out on his 1954 Chevrolet 3100, 1st Series shortbed that he needs to let go.

According to the hood side badge that truck is a 1955 first series. If the drive shaft is an "open" type instead of the torque tube design that will nail it down completely.
