Thumbs up restored back to original pics

This may not even fly, but I'm going to restore my truck back as close to the original as possible. I was wondering if we could get a thread started with pics of trucks that have been restored or preserved as they were when they come off the show room floor...or close. I think this might be a neat thing to see if it goes. Lets see what happens.

Re: restored back to original pics

Here are some pics that I saved from an old ebay add. Mine is a very similar short bed that I began to restore back to original, but the hot rodder came out in me, and it now has a few mods.

Re: restored back to original pics

Cool idea; I look forward to the pics!

I'm kind of in that middle ground of "restification" (restoration + modification). I like the factory look and try to use factory parts wherever I can, but if there's a genuinely better way to do something I modify.

Re: restored back to original pics

It's not the best pic and the truck doesn't belong to me, but the blue/white Cheyenne Super is about as clean and stock as they get. If it was mine I think I would have to alter the ride height a smidge and add some new rollers to it. I even think it would look good with those factory caps on some wider wheels.

Re: restored back to original pics

This is mine and will be as original as possible...right now it is ALL original...you can tell. The tires in the bed are the original tires that come on the truck. it is a LONG way from restoration

Can anyone tell me if mine is stock, no not the wheels or the stance but the paint scheme and colors, is this how it came off the fremont assembly line?
