Well I'm gonna step in here and voice my opinion. Let me say I admire those who are brave enough to go that route but in IMO these really wide white walls belong on the 40s to 50s vehicles since that is what they used back then. Period correct if you will. Those real wide whites weren't used much in the mid to late 60s. By that time the whites had been reduced to 2" wide and less. No doubt the wide ones do stand out though. In the end it is the owners preference that counts.

Your exactly right. I know that my truck isn't "Traditional" by any means. I have a pic of a SWB 69 or 70 truck that was taken on the salt flats that was running the WWW tires. It was a "Pusher" for an old 3 window. I was trying to build it to look like that truck but ended up with about 7 different colors of sheetmetal. I definately didn't want the usual flat black so I went with the green. My user name is actually a joke because my truck was primer black before the green and everyone kept asking if it was a "rat rod".

Thanks for the pics I will have to say the really wide white isnt the look I want. I guess I will look for a smaller WW.
