72 burb 1/2 ton front on my 64 stepside?

I was offered a 72' suburban rolling frame (1/2 ton, five lug, disk brakes) It's exactly what I want for my 64' stepside. The guy is going to give it to me for free but I want to know if the crossmember and all that will work. I currently have a 69' crossmember in it and it bolted right up. I haven't seen the burb yet and I'm not sure if they are the same creature or not . I was going tomarrow to look at it and I just need to know if it will work. Thanks for any answers, Steve O
