Power Steering help!

Got PS added to my 67 gmc c10 and within a week of its install all fluid has leaked out and the thing leaks like crazy. The leak appears to be coming from the box. Anyone ever had this happen to them? The guy who installed the thing (for 300$) is too far away to be held accountable so Im basically sol if theres no easy fix. Thanks for the help.

Re: Power Steering help!

I had a similar leak situation but I found it to be almost impossible to find the true source of the leak because fluid got everywhere. I put some teflon tape on the hi-pressure fitting thats on the pump and that solved my problem.

Re: Power Steering help!

what kind of box are you using? I have a 2WD box that i'll sell for a reasonable price. You should be able to install it yourself... I take it that the lines are tight and hopefully he used the right ones....? send pic so guys can assist...
