Re: FS '68-72 vent windows

Is it the whole piece, or just the window. Mine is broken at the pivot point and I need the whole thing. If it's complete, I'll take it.

Re: FS '68-72 vent windows

They look better than mine, my question is the area that this arrow is pointing. Is that a dent in the chrome or an optical illusion? PM me your payment info as well....thanks

I assume they open freely, springs aren't rusted out and the bottoms are in good shape?

i went and looked again, that dent you are seeing must be from the factory because both windows have it in the same spot. i think it shows up on camera because of the light hitting it just right. they open and close freely, springs have surface rust but are in good shape, and bottoms are good.
pm sent for payment info. thanks rusty

I don't have one out to be able to tell, but how do they attach to the door mounting bracket?

i believe they come factory with rivets attatching them to the door bracket.you can use some small machine screws instead.someone on the board may have a better idea....

Re: FS '68-72 vent windows

The door I took apart had screws, no rivets. Another screw is in the angled door jamb above the glass.

Re: FS '68-72 vent windows

Do you have the division bars for them? That is the long part that sticks down into the door.
