Pics for 2wdBlazer

Here are the only pics I have right now, it's still in the pole barn for the winter. This one was just after the 6" rough country last spring. I have a built 454 on the stand right now waiting for the tax return.

And this one was the day I brought it home. I paid $4500 from an old guy in Detriot, I originally wanted it to build up for the sand dunes. After checkin it out, realized it was all original, matching numbers, the quadrajunk carb still had the tabs from the factory by the intake. Good find I thought.

Anyway there's the pics.

Awesome. I'd love to see it with the new wheels when you get around to it. Nothing sweeter than a lifted Blazer with some mud tires.

Nice Jimmy! I like every version you pictured! Looks like you have a lot of fun changing it around without having to hack anything up.

Re: Pics for 2wdBlazer

Thanks fella's

No I haven't had to hack up anything really. There were already new rockers welded in, the tailgate has 2 spots of some funky bondo, and the cab corner on the pass. side has some rust starting to bubble up. It's in surprisingly great shape for being in Michigan since 1972. I have the dealer papers and everything from the day the old guy bought it in West Branch, MI. PO claims it only has 94,000 original miles. Far as I can tell he's telling the truth. Definately not a show rig, but looks decent going down the highway or out on the dunes. I have the 454 finished on the stand, should be swappin that in the next month or two. I hear I might have clearance problems with the valve covers on the firewall? time will tell.
