There might be hope yet

Well after a week or so from hell, things are relatively back to normal. Finally my disc brake spindles showed up from lmc truck, which officially completes the steering and suspension portion of the truck!!(minus the brakes).

My frame is going into the sandblaster's on tuesday, and after that, the final assembly begins. By the end of january, i hope to have the front end completed rotors/calipers, brake lines run , etc. and the engine in.

With any luck at all, I might just be able to make it to the board meet in july!

Wish me luck guys this is one hell of a thrash! Once i get my new digital camera I will start taking some pics to share with everyone.

Re: There might be hope yet

I started it a year and a half ago when i was still in high school, it was used as my daily driver when i first got it, but after the right front drum brake started leaking, and the tranny started going through more tranny fluid then miles, I decided it was time to pull it apart. We recently moved to a much smaller house/garage, so im still getting use to working in an area thats about 1/4 of the size of my old garage. This could get interesting, going to college and working, doesnt leave much time to work on the truck, but hey... im young, late nights shouldnt be a problem...
