1970 Quadrajet choke
been looking around for a new spring/thermostat for a 1970 GMC quadrajet choke that bolts to the intake manifold.
I know the intake manifolds design changed over the few year period between 67-72. Does anybody know where these can be purchased?

Re: 1970 Quadrajet choke
Form the pic, it looks like that spot is not flat; that it has casting with a radius. Just the way it looks or what?
If the spot is flat, the coil itself, for the factory intake is NAPA number 2-293. It does not come with the cover, bolt or rod. Maybe someone like LMC has more available. While looking for the coil, I noticed NAPA also listed an electric conversion for this set up. From the pic it looks like it has the choke rod with it. It's kinda expensive but you might talk to your local store about it. I've never used one so I can't say how well it works. NAPA number 2-1615

Re: 1970 Quadrajet choke
I got the coil, housing, and rod from a chevy dealer on Ebay last year IIRC.
