I need opinions

Ok so my brain is about fryed from this stupid job hunt so I figuerd I could use a break and ponder my truck for a few. I currently have the bed off, I have shortened the frame and welded up all the extra holes( on one side so far).I moved my spring mounts to where they need to be( Im useing ford superduty rear leafs and mounts, dont shoot me they ride realy nice) and I installed my hitch between the frame rails so it wont hang so low and acts like a rear cross member. now I need to decide if I want to reuse the dana 60 that is already built with a power lock, 4.56s or sell it and build up a 14 bolt I have. The 14 bolt is from like a 77 chevy its the full foater 10 1/2 ring gear and it has the spring pads in the right spot. so I would just have to install new gears and a locker. I know the 14 bolt is stronger but do I need it, although I do have a cummins and 37" tires,and ther was the one time I broke an axle when I had my LT1 in the truck( I was stuck on a realy big rock). so what do you guys think.

I would go with the 14-bolt if you can do it. They are very strong and will take what you throw at them. If your into hardcore wheelin check out pirate4x4.com and whiteknight.ca and pavementsucks.com All 3 sites are awesome.

I'm not really sure that the 14 is that much stronger than the 60....I wouldn't justify the expense if it were me. Not to mention the 60 gives you more ground clearance.
