Need Help! Kansas City Area Guys!

I need help with getting a cowl hood from LMC to my shop, there is 10miles inbetween and I wont dare put the hood in my 65 (Don't want to marr the mahogany). My 69 is the only other truck I could use and the engine is out of it and the hood is needed for it. Anyone up for the challenge?

Thanks for the offer Eric, I've also got a bunch of 69-72 front sheetmetal to get rid of too if you'd like it. $free$

I plan on being in town for the World of Wheels show, I think it's on Feb 16-18, so I could give you a hand then.

Was planning on heading to that show aswell. I may have to take up on Eric's offer though, he's closer and it would be less hassle for him to help.

Re: Need Help! Kansas City Area Guys!

what about blankets and padding to protect the mahogany? although it is a truck, you still can use it like one.

Hvy, how about you get into as many labor hours as I have into my 65, I did everything. The bodywork, the paint, the mechanical aspects. The only thing I didn't do myself was make the parts that went onto the truck. I don't want to take any chances what so ever.

If I can get my truck safe to drive here in the next couple of weeks (which is the plan), it would be no problem. I live in Grandview, so let me know.
