Re: TraderJon

Thanks Corn
You have a lot more clearance than mine.
I'd be lucky to clear a fire ant with these,I guess thats what i get for bragging on the fit before i took down off the jack stands ?
I put some temporary flex pipe on it to hear the motor for break-in,it's eat 2 starters already & aint left the garage, gonna order a mini torque when i hit the lotto,on a positive note,,the cam sounds good, will try to get a video/audio clip for you when it quits raining,we've had 2" since yesterday & my yard is hub deep to a ferris wheel, may be tomorrow.
thanks
Jon

Re: TraderJon

Wow! Those do hang pretty low. Will they fit a 4X4? They forgot to tell us there are a few snags along the way, didnt they? Good luck with your project.

Re: TraderJon

Iirc , the part # says 68to72 c10 1/2 ton bbc 2wd,guess i shoulda got some more info from the board before i bought em ?
I know my truck is lowered ,but i dont think there would be a lot of clearance in a stock ride height truck?
They wont make it around here on these fine roads, potholes the size of propane tanks ,our local road building crew cant spell pavement !
Thanks
Jon

Re: TraderJon

Mark,,I bought these at my local Autozone ,,same price as Summit,,gonna call tomorrow & see if i can return them? They may give me a hassle ?
Digging around Summit now looking at the hedman chevelle shorty's,,,from what i can gather from the good people here ,looks like HED-68610 or 68616 may work,,,also CornFed tipped me on Hookers #2455 in above post ,his look like they tuck up nice?
got a trade working now on a 350 block for a new mini torque starter, friend of mine with a 8 sec truck, got a sponspor to go thru, may get a good price on a Powermaster or Tilton form him?
Thanks
