Grease fittings
Hey all, Im just wanting alittle feedback on something. My truck is a 72 C-10 with the 350, 3spd on the column. It hasnt been on the road since 1989. I was wondering what parts should be greased. Its been driven around the farm, but not on the road anymore. Im almost finished returning it to road status, and I was wondering what should be greased.
Thanks for the help |

Re: Grease fittings
Ok here you go:
Upper and lower a arm shafts on front suspension- 8 fittings upper and lower ball joints- 4 fittings inner and outter tie rod ends- 4 fittings pitman arm nad idler joint if replaced- If tyours are original they are sealed and dont need grease Ujoints- usually 3 ujoints 1 fitting on each one That is all the grease fittings on the truck that I know of. I am not sure if there are grease fittings on the z bar if you got a manual but someone should chime in on it. Hope this helps. Oh and welcome to the board from oklahoma! |
