Hi guys. I need to know wht year this emblem is correct for. It was mounted on a 73-74 grill but is not the correct bow tie. I would like to know what year it properly belongs to. Thanks.

Re: Emblem Identification
looks like a grill emblem from a 79. I picked up a 79 emblem when I was getting some chrome trim off of a 79 and the emblem fit my 73 grill the same way. It really sux that nobody is repo the 73 74 grill emblem. Mine was missing about half. It appears to just be stamped formed out of aluminum to get the size and the ridges then some yellow paint addedto part of it. hardto tell it so faded. I have thought about getting a stamping die made but I'm not sure how to procede with to painted part to get a original look. any suggestions??? Jason
