Did they make metal door panels for our trucks?

Like in the 60-66 trucks.

I'm not sure what the 60 - 66 panels looked like, but yes, these came standard (except 72) with steel door panels.

Depending on what I end up with for my custom setup, you could have mine. As long as you're not in a hurry, I hope to be done with mine in about a month.

forgive the stupid question... you have one of the few '68 CST trucks, why the h*ll do you wanna downgrade it to loud, cold, fugly door panels???
