Would like to buy a used front windshield with no cracks for a 71 C-10. Preferrably local Ft. Worth TX, or at least North TX region.

Let me change my post,,,,I would prefer a local pick up on a front windshield but would pay for shipping to TX 76133. If I don't find one this weekend at the DFW swap meet.

Have you tired the local salvage yards. If they have one in stock they will probably show it in their system.

" screen name relation everything. Thought about changing it..... if its allowed?

On The windshield I've checked almost every salvage yard in Fort Worth...... If the truck has a windshield its cracked,,,,,, or it does'nt have one at all...

Thanks Krue,,,, I actually never even thought about even trying to call a local glass shop. I've always just removed glass from one truck for another.

Once you get a handle here, you're stuck with it. Too many people were asking for a change. There's no problem with your name being close to someone else's. With 30,000 users, it's tough to avoid.

I bought one for my 69 from auto city glass in MN for $100. They come down here for alot of the swap meets so if you time it right they can bring it down and you pick it up from them. Saves a fortune in freight.

I don't have an extra grill at this time. I'm picking up a parts truck (1972) hopefully this Tuesday 02/06. I'm not sure if the grill is any good but if it is I will PM you. But it does have a front windshield so I don't need the glass anymore.

I just bought the part truck mentioned on Monday 02/05. It has all the glass and suspension but no engine/trans and missing alot of interior and exterior parts. But all I really need is the glass and suspension. What would you expect for $200.00 dollars. The truck body is in ruff shape.
