What is this?

Here is a couple of shots of my 50th....does anyone know what the A on the firewall means????

i looks like red showing through the gold right? if it is than that is where the painter "left his mark " whan the paint was still wet ! i had it on my truck to

You need to post a bunch more shots of that truck. I would really like to see a bunch of interior shots too. No idea what the a is but Ive seen lots of these trucks with the factory markings like that on the firewall. They are put on during the factory build process. Im guessing for checking off stuff thats been done or something along those lines.

the A is just an initial from the painter mine was 2 letter but i forgot what they were thet were also on the drivers side but it looked the same

I believe the "red" he is referring to is the color of the primer behind the original paint. My truck had some initials there too, but mine was "CA" if I remember correctly.
