WIW-rear hatch
What is rear hatch worth with two small cracks on the bottom corners. There isn't any fiberglas missing or anything. It has the struts and hinges.

Re: WIW-rear hatch
Depends on a lot like location, shipping expense, and of course condition. I've seen really nice hatches sell for as little as $25. and as high as several hundred. A couple of small cracks on the bottom corners doesn't tell a potential buyer enough as hatches tend to wipe out from the inside out--that is, the inner pieces deteriorate far faster then the external indicators show. You can often tilt a hatch and hear "stuff" slide all over. There are inner metal brackets that are held in place from the factor with pop rivots--when these inner barckets rust away (and they do), even a nice hatch showing little to no cracks, will need major surgery for reliable use.
I would suspect that a solid, straight, hatch with minor gelcoat cracks on the inside section, might bring $100--$200. depending. A few pictures would help. Huck |

Re: WIW-rear hatch
I agree w/ Huck, I've seen them go from FREE (I gave one to a board member)
all the way up to $250+ (New repops are available for around $500 I think)

Re: WIW-rear hatch
Seems like they are $250+ when you need one and free when you don't.
