Re: 1961 or 1963 chrome grille
In the aftermarket all you can get are new reproduction 64-66 grilles. I have a 61 4x4 and been looking for the same thing, can not find them anywhere. I guess there is not alot of instrest for the companys to make new 60-61 grilles. Its also the same with 62 and 63. If I end up getting mine chromed I'll let you know how much it was. Jeremy.

Re: 1961 or 1963 chrome grille
i think the problem, is almost all the years up to 64 use a different grille, and from 64-66 they all use the same. so they dont deem it cost effective to make a grille that will only work on 1 year.

Re: 1961 or 1963 chrome grille
I just won a chrome grill on ebay It by no means is show, but nice. I was qouted around 350.00 to chrome mine. Keep in mind the condition of the grill will determine the final price. I was thinking of getting it powder coated "chrome". But the next door neighbor belongs to a lowrider club and they get there chrome done in Mexico. So I'm planing on sending mine done with there next load.

Re: 1961 or 1963 chrome grille
I have a 62 grille in perfect shape on my truck, painted to match. I think that the grill looks like crap, not because of the paint, but the design, do you guys know if any other years will fit in it's place? I would really like that dual headlight setup if it will fit. Any suggestions? Thanks

Re: 1961 or 1963 chrome grille
I can't remember, but I think it's Chevy Duty that sells the original grilles that are chromed, but you have to ship them your old grille. Check there website, if not, I know one of the truck parts suppliers on this website should have them.
As for which grilles interchange, they all interchange. Just some years have a few extra holes holding them to the inner grille panel. David

Re: 1961 or 1963 chrome grille
I like the grille on my 62...in great shape, slightly out of shape around the pass headlite where the fender got bumped a long time ago.Would love to have it chromed.
