Re: transmition questions?

I priced that job last year, and almost started the project. Steering column with auto trans linkage, trans cross-member,flexplate,torque converter, rebuilt trans,drive-shaft alteration, radiator with trans-cooler,carb with kick-down linkage, modulator line/hose,etc. I finally decided to keep it manual.Local shop said $1600.00 but then backed out.

Re: transmition questions?

You should be able to do it yourself for way less than that.

Re: transmission questions?

if you budget 500 for a T350, 200 for a drive shaft, 200 for a tilt column, 50 for a cooler 25 for lines, 125 for a xmember, the total should be 1100 plus linkage.
