new model stepside bed rear step shaved. i got my kit this week. and was wanting to know how to attach it to the bed fiberglass only or pop rivets and then fiber glass thanks

bowtiehotrodder, post some pics of the kit that you got and i'll see if i can help you through it . there two different kit out there. one kit can be installed with fiberglass panel adhesive and the other will have to be installed with fiberglass mat and epoxy resin , polyester resin will not stick to the bed panel .

The last Stepside was made in`87.They`ve been called Sportsides since`88...19 years.Just a FYI.
