Smile disc brake question

hello everybody, first post here. Heres my question, i want to convert to front disc on my '69 lwb. i would prefer 5 lugs mainly because of the wheel options. i read an old thread on keeping it 6 lug, might consider if 5 lug doesnt work out. anyways, heres my question, what parts exactly do you need to do conversion to disc and whats the easiest way also. sourcing the parts wont be a problem since i work for an auto parts store, and theres plenty of junkyards around these parts. for the rear i would like to keep the trailing arm setup. any help would be very much appreciated, all the upgrades i have done so far since the few months i've had the truck have been with the help of this site. i need all the help i can get since im walking into uncharted territory, and my SILVIA(a little JDM speak) hates it lol!

Re: disc brake question

now i could be wrong but if i am right you should be able to get the parts for a 72 truck and bolst all the dick stuff right up, spindles, rotors, and if you want a 5lug rearend also just get one out of a 72 but if memory serves right they are a couples inches shorter anyway i hope this helps and if not others will chime in

Your rear axle on the 69 is about 1 1/2" narrower than the 70 1/2- 72. They will fit right in but you will run into drum fitment issues.
