tore down that 366 and it has a turned rod bearing and the crank shows to be 40 over on the rods anyways.so i need a good crank and one good rod.thanks

FYI- the tall deck crank balance will be way different than a standard deck crank- due to the heavy 4-ring piston in the tall deck. You can have a std. one balanced to work, but can get expensive if they have to use alot of metal to do it. I have a forged TD 427 10/20 fresh ground crank ready to go- $75 plus shipping. Probably a bunch of rods too. This 427 crank would probably need just a typical balance job.

here is crank number info i got i got.are these balanced different

6223 427 Forged 66-69
6223 400-402 Forged 70-76
6223 396 Forged 68-76
6223 366 Forged 66-85

I have 5 of them from 396. 4 are forged steel and one cast.
