Unhappy Power steering bracket bolts

I was driving back from the Moultrie swap meet and my power steering gave out. I had just turned the wheel to pull into a gas station when it happened. I figured the belt gave out but my bracket bolts had broken off in the block. Anybody ever had that problem? The pump was just dangling there.

Never heard of that. What gorilla torqued those bolts?

Re: Power steering bracket bolts

I just figured out that the PO added the power steering. Maybe he used some cheap cheesy ass bolts. I'll find out when I drill into them tomorrow. This is going to be at least a two beer job....
