sway bar problems HELP!!!
has anyone ever changed the eye bushings on the front sway bar? this is on a 73 K20, but i think they are the same all up to 87. not sure. anyway i got new ones at advance auto. they are a lot bigger than the hole they need to go in. tried using a press. went to two different guys. then went to a GM dealership. no luck with anyone. actually ruined my first set. but got new ones for free.
so anyway. anyone have any suggestions? |

Sway bar
It is possible that someone before you replaced the stock swaybar with an aftermarket. In any case, I would remove an eye bushing retainer and bushing and measure the diameter of the bar. Take the bushing retainer and sway bar diameter with you when purchasing the new set of bushings. Good luck to you...BadHabit...

I know I smashed my thumb when I put my new ones in. I used the new urethane bushings.
