Wasn't there a tool box compartment in the pass side rear of the door and forward of the rear right wheel well? I don't know if that was a separate option or part of the Custom Camper package.

I think the tool box was part of the Custom Camper line. I have a 1970 Custom Camper and it has the wireing and the tool box on the passenger sider. Thats what I think at least.

Good question, I never thought about it.

Maybe this option evolved over the years, but my '67 Custom Camper doesn't have a toolbox. I tried to think of things that the CC option brought to my truck, but it seems all the stuff related to hauling campers is listed separately: auxilary springs, sway bar, HD rear springs, rear shock absorbers (upgraded shocks, I think). I also have the "camper nameplate" option listed. But maybe some of this came as part of that package, and they listed the individual options separately, too.

I didn't think that would be a possibility until I just noticed something else on the sticker. Why does it list "side trim mold eq" as a separate option from the exterior appearance custom group? Wasn't molding part of that?

That's a good questiong. For the most part, appears to be an emblem... At least on a 1970 GMC, the camper wiring and the toolbox were additional options. The sway bar additional, and the heavy spring additional.

I was wondering because about the only thing I saw on this truck were the emblems on the doors.
