This is not a for sale thread, as they are not even available....yet. I have had quite a few inquiries regarding these. I talked to the vendor and they said they would look into making them. Mind you it will be around 6 months before they will even be available. They will be a plug and play unit as well. All you will need to do is rewire the cargo light into your brake lights. Please post up your interest here.

there once was a company making some, but i can't recall who had them. it had a red portion in the middle flanked by white cargo leds on each side. it was sweet but $$$$.

ECE's unit is not sealed, no lense, not plug and play, and $109. Nothing against ECE's products as they have quality stuff. Pictured below is ECE's piece. The one we will have available will be just like the sealed tail light units with red lenses I have for sale and will cost more like $30.

I'd be very interested, as I'm just now starting my interior refurb and am strongly considering adding a cargo light. It would be even nicer if it had 3rd brake light capabilities, and sweeter still if it were LED and fit into the original cargo light setup.

However, for the money that that product will likely cost, I'll probably just get what I need off of a more modern Chevy truck at a salvage yard.

$110 is about double what I'd be willing to pay (sorry, I'm inherently cheap), plus, I can't tell from the picture if it looks decent at night with just the brake or just the cargo's.

If you can provide for $50 plus shipping, I'm in!

Otherwise I'll follow my 1st inclination and find a late model one one at a salvage yard, or I'll get the LMC one for about $30 and add my own red LEDs.
