Re: My new wheels

I don't like them, the shape of the spokes make them look all bent and beat up... truck looks bad ass though, not sure what you had before, but some nice deep dish rallyes would look sharp

Re: My new wheels

Clean truck, wheels don't do the truck justice. BTW, you're missing a lugnut in the rear.

Re: My new wheels

I say their ok, but like people said, they make em look bent or outta shape. My trucks almost the exact same color, so at least i know what wheels not to get.......

Yup I use to work at a Wheel shop, when those ( or some that looked like them) came out I thought they looked odd. I did see some on a 4X4 with some 35" mudders and they looked decent.
If you realy hate them post a "trade" on Craigs list.

Re: My new wheels

Big city has the wheels that I wanted for my truck, but could'nt find them anywhere, But I just live in Montana so their arnt a hole lot of car shows to go to and it dosent take much to impress us up here, besides we only get a few good months of good driving weather, and the rest of the time its hiding in the garage. Thanks for the imput guy's, after everyone at work thought they were cool and I thought they looked like crap, I needed some non face to face opinions... Maybe by next year I wil be able to find the perfect wheel and tire combo...

Man, I searched LONG AND HARD for slotted mags. I ended up getting them from eBay. I have 15 x 8.5's all around, with 215/70 in front, and 265/60 in the rear - from a used tire place. All I do is burn the rears up anyway. Oh the power of a straight 6...

I actually still have 3 15 x7 slotted mags in the garage. I holding on to one for a spare, and I'll probably end up selling the other two if I don't get another truck

Nice clean truck. Those wheels take it down about ten notches for me. With the right wheels that thing could be a jaw dropper.

Re: My new wheels

Sweet truck, but i'm not diggin those wheels. Look like wal-mart hubcaps.

I love the slotted mags, I found an original set of Ansens for my vair on e-bay.

American racing makes them now, but I believe 5 lugs only.

Re: My new wheels

Folks, I picked up a set of 16" X 8" Mickey Thompson Classics from Summit. I grew tired of the truck rally wheels after 20 plus years. They fit real nice with a 4 5/8" backspacing. I post a picture here soon. I just got registered to the forum today.

Re: My new wheels

i like that you kept the six lugs...just upgraded to disc brakes in front on mine but paid extra for the six lug so i could keep the "traditional look"...mine are just steel wheels painted flat black with stainless rim and hub covers...

...your wheels look funky but truck is great...
