Where to get new brake lines (LWB with rear leafs)

I'm trying to find a set of all new pre-bent lines for my 68 gmc but I can't seem to find any, LMC has a set but they say the won't work with trucks with rear aux leafs. When I complete the project it will be front disc/rear drum and I wanted to do all the lines at that time, anyone know where I can get em?

Re: Where to get new brake lines (LWB with rear leafs)

Is there any reason why a guy would want to switch to Stainless? Thinking about replaceing lines in my 67 while I got it apart, and was wondering.

Also, I am converting to discs in the front, what year lines should I get? The rotors adn calipers are off a 76 but then it ECE dropped spindles and all 67 from there in.

Thanks

Re: Where to get new brake lines (LWB with rear leafs)

Same here go with inline tube. Mine came from them and they fit great.

kevincar- Stainless dont rust and brake lines are bad at rusting thru, that is why mine got replaced. They rust both inside out and outside in.

I think they have a specila kit for those with 67-70 that have been converted to discs. If you cant find that then just get the 71-72 front line set and reuse your existing front to rear brake line. Hope this helps.

Yeah do that, they are GREAT to work with and will make sure you get what you need. I bought my e brake cables in stainless from them, and I wish I would have found them before I got my brake lines from the truck shop. Inline would have been cheaper in the long run and the best part they make all their parts, in AMERICA not like the truck shop

make your own! it's cheaper faster and you can route them how you like. use a peice of wire coat hangger to moc up what you want it to look like then bend the pipe to match. yes it will take a little while but you'll enjoy it i promiss.

I've actually done that before, did a set for a friends old ford, and your right its really only a time factor. That's really the only reason I'm not doing it for myself this time around, not alot of freetime, and want to get this truck daily driving quickly.
