just curious
I'm thinking about selling my blazer again. I tried once, but that was before I added a BUNCH of stuff. Long story short...I'm opening up a karate school in the next month or so and could definitely use the money from the blazer to put into my school. The only thing is...I have no idea how much I can get for it. The highest offer I received back then was 18K. With all the new things on it...do you think I can get at least 22k??? Some of you came by my house to see it when the interior was blue(see picture below) and I had a different set of shoes on it. It doesn't look that anymore!!! Here's some pictures.

Re: just curious
It`s sure a nice one.I think you`re right on the price. You`ll always get guys that want to "wish" it into their price range. But,in that shape on that vehicle(lil`rare),with the upgrades done, you`re in the right range.

Re: just curious
Takes the right buyer to pay that price, but it sure is a sweet K5. Being in California I would think you should be able to find that buyer.

Re: just curious
You can get 22 for it I'm sure. Just start advertising and the right buyer will come along. I would ask 25k and let them knock you down to 22k. Nice blazer

Re: just curious
Dang, I wish I had $. There is a red one for sale in Cali right now on Craigslist and he is asking $27K. In my opinion, based on the few pics I've seen of the other, yours looks nicer.
http://inlandempire.craigslist.org/car/273345180.html Does it have any flaws? The interior is great, but ya gotta sell the car seat with it!

Re: just curious
Thanks everyone!!! Good idea on the pricing. No...no flaws at all. It's ready to cruise or to show and YES...the car seat comes with it!!!

Re: just curious
You're killing me... If I had $22K, I'd buy it right now. Unfortunately, the wife wants a new house and something about saving for the kids college and retirement, and... where are her priorities?
FYI, Blazers have a "season" and the demand goes up in the summer. If you can wait a couple months, I'm sure you'll have more interest and more bargaining power. Take it to a few shows or cruize the main drag with a for sale sign and you'll generate a lot of interest.

Re: just curious
Beautiful work, $22K seams like a bargin.
What's the motor/drive train? Injected with a 4spd auto? That'd be an additional bous IMO. Nice ride for sure, that's where I'd like to be if I sold mine. |

Re: just curious
What's "truck fest"??? HOTROD...is it in our area???
Here's a little more about it: 402BBC, Turbo 400, hedman headers, Posi Rear End, Flowmaster dual exhaust, new power steering pump, new brake pads, no rust, AC cab but it isn't hooked up, lowered, but has custom airlift air bag system set up for the rear just to make it a smoother ride, but it still has the springs and shocks in the rear. I'm also throwing in the pulley system that I have set up in my garage so you don't have to break your back with your buddy's trying to get that HEAVY thing off. I wish I could wait for the summer, but with all the equipment, matts and mirrors that I need to purchase...I'm sorta stuck. Once I get the karate school going though...I'll be back!!! Also...somewhere in here I have individual pictures of the blazer. |
