396/th400 Kickdown Switch

i need some help here guys, i have a 70 C20 with a 396/TH400 and can't figure out how to wire up the electric kickdown switch, i have a edelbrock performer RPM intake and a EDL-1411 750 cfm carb, i kept the original kickdown switch and also have a B&M TH400 kickdown switch(part# BMM-20297) i just need some help or pictures, also the metal rod from the accelerator pedal hits the firewall. if anybody has this same setup could you post some pics or just explain how you were able to wire this up. thanks-joe

heres my edelbrock intake and my b&m switch on a quadrajet

mines a 69 c-20 i don't know if your linkage is the same as mine?

thanks for the pictures, i think the linkage on a edelbrock is a little different, did you just bend the stock throttle rod like that? any other issues with it? thanks again-joe
