autometer gauge install questions HELP

Can somebody tell or show me how they installed the autometer gauges in the stock dash bezel ? all help is greatly appreciated.

I did my gauges in front of the bezel. Had to open up the 4 small holes a little by sanding off most of the bezeled part that is silver. I believe the three larger gauges fit without modification.

Here they are - note I switched positions of the RPM and Speedo later



Here's how I wired the lights



Then I used some Radio Shack fuse blocks



Once the bezel was mounted I wired the sending units.

I used LED's from Radio Shack for the turn signals and I don't plan to wire in a bright headlight indicator.

Is the bezel alone strong enough to hold the guages without cracking??? Just wondering if you still need to use the metal back.

very nice yukon have the same set up in my truck almost done with the wiring but that looks very clean

thanks guys. i,am going to install a cummins 4bta engine in my 1/2ton and i need some different gauges than come stock and the autometers fit the bill and look classy also.

Yeah, is the plastic alone strong enough to support the gauges?
