Here is mine I am going to replace the stock intake snout with one that points to the side this spring. It has a stock NAPA top rad hose. it rubs just a touch on the alternator now. As you can see you run out of room to the rad and I can't find a electric setup that is less than 2". I am banging out a shroud for the fan because the 14" and 10" fans in front of the airconditioner can't keep up in the summer.

Thanks for the pics, that is the exact brackets I have. I wanted to run mine in front of the alternator but I may have to do like you did. I may end up fabbing a aluminum pipe in the long run. Is there any chance you have the number on the serp belt? What year is you setup and what did it come off of?
Thanks

Re: BBC Serpentine Brackets Installed with Pics?????????????

This was a GM kit. When I put the crate motor in the truck I wanted a new waterpump and alternator and power steering pump as most of them were factory except the alt which was 16 years old. When I priced them out it was cheaper to get the kit that the units seperately. The kit came with the brackets for tall deck and everything belts/bolts/brackets/WP/ALT/PWRSTRpump/airconditioner compressor/ both belts. I will check my book I keep in the truck and get the part number for the belt.

fan 2.2" http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/10-IN...QQcmdZViewItem

there seems to be several that are less than 2" on the outside, but the centers all run a little thicker. good luck finding something

Re: BBC Serpentine Brackets Installed with Pics?????????????

I keep a log book in the truck and when I put something not factory on the truck I write in the back the part numbers. That way if I break down on the road it is easier to get replacement than saying it's a '72 with a serp setup off an '9x truck.
Serpentine belt #88986813.

Long water pump #12560471.
