WTB 81 -87 High Hump Floor Section
I have the 81-87 high hump trans cover but I need the mating section of floorboard to convert my 2wd cab. Willing to buy a complete junk cab for the section I need. Thanks.

Re: WTB 81 -87 High Hump Floor Section
Russell,
ALL I need is the section under the front seat. I can get the rest of the cover to fit with the existing floor. There was a few threads on this in the recent past on this subject that had pictures showing the area I need. I will see if I can find them and post the link. |

Re: WTB 81 -87 High Hump Floor Section
I know which part you need -- Did the same thing myself, lol
I suppose I could cut the t-case hump off, but the part I have is one full solid peice from a cab that had a non-removeable hump in it. I'll snag a pic, but I do warn you, shipping on it won't be cheap...

Re: WTB 81 -87 High Hump Floor Section
A few close calls but no high hump yet. What shape is the cab? I was hoping to find either just the sheet metal or a junk cab to cut the metal from.

Re: WTB 81 -87 High Hump Floor Section
Here is a picture I grabbed from another post. I need the section in yellow. I could also use the tunnel cover itself if it is better shape than mine. Thanks.

Re: WTB 81 -87 High Hump Floor Section
I have a 89 k5 that I currently rob parts from, but it is not a bolt in piece, it would have to be cut from the floor and my 87 k5 is the same. The bolt in sections were only a few years- early 80s I think. You are wanting a truck floor, so blazer and sub pieces wont do.
IIRC, the bolt in panels were thru 84.

Re: WTB 81 -87 High Hump Floor Section
Are you in southern Indiana? If so how far from I-65? I am headed to KY tomorrow afternoon and back to Indy sometime around Thursday or Friday. I might be able to stop by and pick it up.
