I am doing the behind the bezel autometer conversion. I have a question for those who have done it. The 2 5/8 gauges what ones are harder to see and what ones are better to see while driving? I Want to arrange them in order of importance ya know.

It may be because my swapped in seats sit me kind of high, but I can see all of my smaller gauges pretty well. The ones on each side of the column are probably a touch more difficult to keep an eye on. I put my fuel gauge on the far right side and I like it there as it is easy to keep an eye on and fun to watch how fast I run low on gas. To the far left I have the temp gauge - always keeping on eye on the temp so I like it over there. Just to the right of my column is the clock - don't really care much about time cause when I'm in the truck time just doesn't seem to matter much. Voltmeter is just to the left of the column - kinda keep an eye on it but if I should have a electrical problem, I will know of it by the wires a frying.

Guess those are the reasons for how I have my small gauges set up the way I do.

No oil pressure gauge?

Maybe that's mounted elsewhere...

My oil pressure gauge is the larger 3 3/8" gauge between the speedo and tach - I thought he was just asking about the smaller 2 5/8 gauges.

Autometer makes small rings that you can put behind the guages when you mount from the front to angle them any way you want.
