WIW 70 Customcamper/20
I found a 70 customcamper/20 with a 400 big block with AC. It’s in good shape runs real good and not much rust. The cab floor in the back and supports are rusty and will need fixed.
Any idea what its worth.I really dont need the bigblock or the 400 trans i have a good smallblock and 4 gear on a205 transfercase for my 4x4 i mainly need the sheet metal and other parts he has and its a package deal. Thank Ed Last edited by CrashEd; 02-15-2007 at 01:54 AM. |

Saw one in the local paper for $1500, but a lot depends on location.

Yeah there's a lot of money in parts with a bb truck. Can't believe no one else has chimed in with a more informed opinion.

Re: WIW 70 Customcamper/20
I've seen just the BB a/c brackets for sale new? for $400, then look at all the other parts. I've seen guys out here pay $1100 for no a/c, lesser condition 1/2t 4x4, but I got a '70 GMC with almost same specs as that one, no tinted glass but left side battery tray for $500 with minimal rust due to melted charge and ignition wires. Maybe I'm crazy, but wouldn't $2000 be reasonable? (GM doesn't make them anymore!) What $$ if it was 1/2ton?

Just that dual snorkel 400 air cleaner is worth around $100 bucks by tiself, then just the brackets could bring including the engine mounts another $500 to $600 dollars. Now your up to almost $700 dollars and you haven't even touched the rest of the truck or the motor.
