Any San Antonio, Texas member's?

Well, I'm heading to San Antonio for a week. From Friday, Feb 26, until Saturday Mar 3...
Is there any car hang outs in the S.A. area? I was there back in August but didn't get time to hit anything, nor do I remember where they were. I will be in Nothern S.A.. Around I-35 and O'conner area. Any of ya'll live near there?

Hey Bud, I haven’t heard of any shows coming to town any time soon. But I know there is a get together every Friday at the Pig Stand on Broadwayjust under 35, theyare all kinds or cars and trucks. I also asked a friend of mine and this is what he gave me it may be a little closer to where you will be at. I know on Friday nights there is a pretty big car show off of IH-35 and Topperwien just behind the Whataburger. Get off at Topperwein and take a right at the stop sign then there is a outdoor little mall just down about 100 feet and its behind the wattaburger. U will C tons of cars there around 7ish. Its worth seeing for sure.

Biff Buzby's Burger joint is tucked back there and they usually have a DJ out there on Friday's. I usually go out there and chill with the 94-96 Impala SS guys (I drive a wagon w/ same body style) but won't be there for another month or more since I'm currently TDY in AZ. Personally I'd stay away from Biff food since the line is always long and it's more expensive than whataburger and doesn't taste any better

Re: Any San Antonio, Texas member's?

Hey Bryan. Glad you had a safe trip. As for what to do there is a lot of thing to do here. there’s sea world, fiesta Texas 6 flags, Alamo, tower of the Americans, bass pro shop, river walk, missions, san Fernando cathedral, buck horn museum in san Antonio. And in new branfules (spelling) there is the natural bridge caverns. There is a lot more but that’s all I can think of off the top of my head.
