Help Identifying Hubcaps

Hello all. I'm usually over on the 67-72 board, but I was wondering if you all could help me identify the years for these 3/4 ton hubcaps. I'm guessing they were 76-87 or maybe 77-87. I've got a set of NOS ones to sell and I would like to know exactly what years they are correct for. Thanks!

Re: Help Identifying Hubcaps

Are you sure they are 3/4 ton? What is their diameter? 1/2 and 3/4 ton caps look alike, but are different in size. I can't be of much help on the year break however.

Re: Help Identifying Hubcaps

I thought the 3/4 ton caps had a 6 "spoke" pattern and the 1/2 ton caps had a 5 "spoke" pattern like those pictured.
I have a set I pulled off a '86 Chev 1/2 ton 4x4 that look like that, but not nice like that. I am pretty sure they were stock on the truck.

Looking at the pics in the LMC catalog the 5 "spokes" are way deeper than the 6 spoke which would lead one to believe the deeper 5's would be the 3/4 ton and possibly 1/2 ton 4x4 due to the front hubs.

Re: Help Identifying Hubcaps

I believe what you have is the 1/2 ton caps. I had a set like this on my 74 Cheyenne 1/2 ton. But I see two sets of the 5 spoke design like yous on ebay being advertised as 3/4 ton caps.

Here is a same vintage six spoke 3/4 ton cap, which is about 12 inches wide:

Re: Help Identifying Hubcaps

Since I blew the on-line pic up they are listed as 1/2 ton.
