I just bought me a set. I guess I will put them up for a rainy day since they won't fit the dash in my 67 and the 68 is just not ready for something that cool.

$20 seems pretty reasonable. Maybe I didn't look close enough at the description, but what if you have a tach?

he said that he didnt have access to the tach cover. so if you have a factory tach maybe painting it can come close to the vinyl. luckily i have a white faced sun tach in that spot so itll fit right in

I saw these a few days back and have been considering them, but if i get a chrome instrument panel, it might be too bright, what do you think?

Someone with an older tach should loan it to him. I bet he could make that one to sell too. I don't want to tear up my working gauge set or i would loan him a tach. Set wouldn't work for me unless it had tach (probably many of us). Lets also invite him to boards.

Sent him a note yesterday re- Tach face & Vac Face. If someone has a tach & vac gauge with the associated lense cover, he can make up those gauge vinyl overlays ---just scan them on a flat screen scanner at actual size and send them to him. I'm trying to find a neighbor with a flat screen scanner as I have the gauges but not the right scanner?! Huck

If you use a digi-cam and block the flash in a low light (not dark, just low light) you can get decent shotes.
Like this one from a while back I did...
I converted the cargo light into a cargo/3rd brake light...has both features and looks stock.
