Picture request! how low with bags and NO Drop crossmember
im running 2600's on the back of my truck with a cnotch.
im going to bag the front next month and possibly put dropspindles on. Without any type of crossmember mods, how low will i be? pictures are much appreciated. |

I don't have any pics yet since I'm not finished w/ the backend, but it won't lay level because the front will hit first if the back is lowered enough to lay out on the ground. Otherwise if it's just a small notch then you will have a bit of a rake and lay on the lower control arms

Heres a few of my truck bagged with dropped spindles before the Z on 22s.

Mine, no cross member mods, and the cross member can still go down (3" off the ground) I'm using plates upper and lower.
Rear is frame on axle, no c-notch (yet....)

I am running GMCPauls drop spindles and 6 lug manual disk brake swap. Real quality kit.
I do plan on redoing the suspension to get it to lay frame, but I do like how she sits now, nice hot rod flair. An added bonus, if your compressor goes out and you're not on the ground, you can drive home at 2am idling in 1st gear. Speaking of which, I did not have luck with AIM industries/airbagit.com. They're the reason I had to idle home twice, thankfully I was close to home. The good that came out of it is that I"m going to redo my system ($$$ out the window) and do more mods that will let me lay frame.  Sorry about the babel, but I do recommend *****************, my current (working 3x as long as priors from AIM) compressor is from them and my next setup will be from them next winter.

Stock crossmember w/ART Strong Arms & CPP 2 1/2" Drop spindles (crossmember 1/2" off ground with 20" front wheel)

Here's mine, 2-1/2" spindles, 1/2" lower cups, slam re7 bags and a bolt-in CPP c-notch out back.

73-87 "stock" crosmember with 3" spindle and 2600 bags. The rear has a small C-notch but the bed is not cut...

Lowrollin mine looks just like your does your's have 3" drop spindles?
I just got the cab on today, now I can see the light at the end of the long long tunnel can you tell I am happy.
