Broad Question from newbie- source for specs?
I have googled myself silly...........
Can't find a list of factory 16" wheels with 5on5 pattern... Can't find drive line specs for all 1/2 ton models from 67-72; 2wd, 4wd, stick trans, manual trans, LWB, SWB... Can't find rear end specs by the housing numbers... Not asking for the specs- i am a do-it-yourselfer... Doesn't GM or Chevy have this stuff available on-line? Where do you folks look things up? Thanks

I don't know what information you have already but here are some information sources that I use.
Assembly Manual Service Manual Overhaul Manual GMC Pauls website, www.gmcpauls.com Of course there is a wealth of information available on this site. Jim

Re: Broad Question from newbie- source for specs?
Thanks, guys. The stuff they sent me is for a 1954 chevy- not much help. Guess I will have to call again and see if we can meet up better

Re: Broad Question from newbie- source for specs?
I can say I don`t believe there was a factory 16" wheel for 2wds in`71 or later. This is when disc brakes started and the 5-lug pattern began. There were 16" wheels optional on 4wds with the 6-lug pattern.
