Wheel help
I did the disk brake swap in the front. Cost me $500 cash from ABS in Anehiem.
My dilemma now is what wheels to get. I stuck with the six lug originals, and was looking at some torq thrust ST wheels, but the guy at the wheel shop told me the centers probably wont fit. I dont know what I need to look for when wheel shopping as far as proper fitment. I see some wheels out there that I like, but now assume they are all for late model centers. can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks

Re: Wheel help
OK I measured the hubs on the converted disk brakes and it looks like they will fit later model style 6 lug wheels (77.7 mm or 3.075 in hubs)
My problem is now how am I going to make the rear axles match. I have already ordered the wheels. They are 20x8.5 torq thrust ST's with 19mm backspacing. Should be here on Thursday. Anyone got any ideas? Do I need new rear shafts? maybe some sort of adapter?

Re: Wheel help
If your hubs are to large diameter you can pull the axles and take them to a machine shop and have them turned to the correct size.

Re: Wheel help
I guess that seems simple enough, at what point is it not worth the effort, and I should try to get new axles? I am really wondering if they made them with enough "excess" that they can be taken down as much as needed?
