4 1/2 Backspacing On Front
Hi,will a 15x7 wheel with 4 1/2 backspacing work on a 72 with disk brakes??

I would say yes, I have 17x8 with 4.5" backspacing. As long as you have stock brakes, yes.

Do you have 17 x 8 all the way around? And are they all 4 1/2 of backspacing??

No, I have 17x9.5 in the rear with 5" backspacing. Gives a little more dish to the deeper rim.
