I'm drooling! Just goes to show why these trucks are the best around.

Chet - Let's have some details.

chetdalton here. My screen name is halfwaythere because you can see that it is halfwaythere. I have been working on the truck for about a year now and actually havent for awhile because now I am working to have the fenders painted. I installed all of the replacement panels like the cab corners, floor panels inner and outer rockers myself with some help of my mig welder. the actual body filler part was done by my uncle, but I plan to to body fill the front fenders and the bed.
On the Chassis I sandblasted it with a 5 gallon sandblaster I bought for $150 from northern tools. I painted the frame flat black and the engine gloss black.

now I am the process of getting the wiring in the thing which is a bit frusterating.

oh yeah the truck used to be orange

thanks for the compliments guys. the work is sure beginning to pay off!!!

The first thing I noticed was it was a 4 by because I own one! Keep up the good work half-way, soon we'll be calling you three quarter. Wiring is a pain, depending how good or bad yours was to begin with. It took me a while to work the bugs out of mine. Keep us apprised of your progress.
